The service

You email me freight documents: carrier invoices, rate confirmations, bills of lading, proofs of delivery and similar paperwork, as PDFs, scans or photos. I return one spreadsheet with the agreed fields, in your import template if you provide one. Each row is marked as ready to import, needing review, excluded, or reference, with a note explaining why.

Software reads the documents first. I then check the rows against the source documents before delivery.

Turnaround

Two business days (Monday to Friday, US Eastern time), counted from when I've confirmed receipt of the whole batch. Stacks over 150 documents take five business days unless agreed otherwise.

Price and payment

Prices are in US dollars. You pay by card through Stripe after you've received and checked the spreadsheet, within 7 days of delivery. As a Swedish business selling a service to a business outside the EU, no Swedish VAT is charged.

What counts as an error

An error is a value in the delivered file that does not match what is legibly printed on the source document, in the agreed fields, reported within 5 business days of delivery with the document ID.

These are not errors: text I couldn't read (left blank and flagged), mistakes printed on the carrier's own document (flagged, not corrected), and layout preferences.

If I get one wrong

I fix it within 1 business day, and that batch is free. My total liability for any batch is limited to the fee for that batch. That limit doesn't apply where data protection law, or a data processing agreement we've signed, doesn't allow liability to be limited. The spreadsheet is data entry, not accounting, tax or payment advice: you decide what to pay and what to import.
